How to pack for my dogs stay?
-
Bring your pets food that fits with their normal diet. This can include hard food, wet food and canned food. Refrigerated food is also welcome.
Treats are also acceptable, we just ask to not bring anything including rawhides, deer antlers, small natural bones and anything that could become a choking hazard.
All treats and food should be brought in moderate amounts for the time of your stay.
-
Blankets/Beds and Toys are welcome!
Beds and blankets should be moderate size. All beds and blankets should be able to fit easily in a washing machine for clean hygiene purposes. Blankets and beds should also be intact so there is no stuffing or fabric that could be chewed/swallowed.
Toys are also welcome as long as they do not include ropes, plastic toys, deer antlers and natural bones as they can become choking hazards. We ask to only bring 1-2 toys for your pups stay.
Examples of toys you can bring:

This can include big food toats, big storage toats, duffle bags ect.
The only time big containers are welcome is if you have 2 or more dogs staying. And or if your dog is staying for an extended period of time (more than 2 weeks).
When your pup is staying all of their stuff should typically fit in a 12×8×5-inch container. Your also welcome to bring your own container as long as it is in the same parameters of the ones provided during the reservation.

Collars, leashes and harnesses will not be needed for your pups stay with us at Canine Country Club. We have slip leads in house that are used in everyday practices in the building, and they are the safest option when your dog is staying with us.
We do not recommend leaving your dog’s collar or harness with us because it will not be needed and or could get lost.
The only time you can leave the leash, collar or harness with you dog is when there are certain medical or physical restrictions you pet has to follow.
Examples of equipment not to bring:
-Bark collars
-Shock collars
-Chains
-Prong collars
-Tracking collars
-
Food and water bowls will be provided to your pup with their stay.
Slow feeders are something you don’t need to bring with your pup’s other belongings. Feeding is monitored by staff at dedicated feeding times.
The only time slow feeders are welcome is if your pet has certain medical restrictions that need to be followed according to a veterinarian.
